What this service is, what it isn't, and what each of us is responsible for.

1. Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Digevo Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16415485, trading as One Stop Driving. Registered address: SET COMPANY_ADDRESS IN _shared/config.php.

By using this site or submitting an enquiry you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the site.

2. What the service is

One Stop Driving is an introduction service. We take details of what you're looking for and pass them to independent driving instructors and driving schools who have told us they cover your area.

We do not provide driving lessons. We do not employ driving instructors. We do not supply vehicles. Nothing on this site should be read as us offering to teach you to drive.

3. Your agreement is with the instructor

If you go on to book lessons, that contract is between you and the instructor or driving school. They set the price, the terms, the vehicle, the lesson times and the cancellation policy. We are not a party to it.

That means questions about refunds, cancellations, lesson quality, punctuality, vehicle condition or instructor conduct are for the instructor. We would still like to hear about problems, because they affect who we pass enquiries to, but we cannot resolve them for you.

4. What we don't promise

  • We do not guarantee that any instructor will contact you.
  • We do not guarantee that lessons are available in your area, at your preferred time, in your preferred transmission, or at any particular price.
  • We do not guarantee any standard of instruction, any pass rate, or that you will pass your test.
  • We do not verify instructors beyond asking them to confirm they are DVSA-approved and appropriately insured. We are not a regulator and we do not inspect vehicles.

Before your first lesson, ask to see the instructor's ADI badge - an approved instructor displays a green one, and satisfy yourself that they are who they say they are.

5. Using the site properly

When you submit an enquiry you confirm that the details are accurate, that they are your own, and that you actually want to be contacted about driving lessons.

You must not submit anyone else's details without their permission, submit false or test enquiries, use the site to advertise, scrape or copy the site's content or data, or attempt to interfere with the site's operation. We may refuse or remove any enquiry we believe breaches this, and we may block access.

6. Instructors

If you register as an instructor you confirm that you are a DVSA-approved driving instructor, that you hold appropriate insurance for paid driving instruction, and that the areas and lesson types you give us are accurate.

You agree to use learner details only to contact that learner about driving lessons, to handle them in line with UK data protection law as an independent controller, and to stop contacting a learner who asks you to. Charges for introductions, where they apply, are as separately agreed with you in writing.

7. Cost

The service is free for learners. We charge instructors for introductions. Nothing is added to your lesson price by us.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for anything arising from your dealings with an instructor, from lessons taken or not taken, from an instructor failing to contact you, or from your reliance on general information published on this site. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to £100, reflecting that the service is free to you.

If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Content

The text, design, code and graphics on this site belong to Digevo Limited. You may read and share pages normally. You may not copy the site, republish substantial parts of it, or extract its data systematically.

General information about learning to drive on this site is exactly that: general. Rules change. The authoritative source is GOV.UK and the DVSA.

10. Changes and availability

We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you use the site, with the date shown at the top.

We may change, suspend or withdraw the site at any time. It is provided free and we do not promise it will always be available.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
